The younger cadets were the first to finish their obligations from all our selections of the youth school (as early as the beginning of December), and the students of Željko Ćetković were dominant in the Cadet League of the Association of Clubs Centar.
Ten games, ten wins with a goal difference of 70: 3 – for a convincing first place with 30 points in the half-season – six more than the second-placed Kom.
“In many respects, I am satisfied with the half-season. First, the way we developed as a team, from the first to the final training. Secondly, everything that we provided through the games in this half-season and the way we transferred things to the game, which were learned through training. And the third, perhaps most important for me, is the way the players tried to meet all the requirements, which showed that they represent a group of great guys who always try to give their best, “said Cetkovic.
In addition to the victories in the championship, the younger cadets added two triumphs in the Cup, qualifying for the semifinals. So, 12 games during the fall, 12 triumphs, goal difference 73: 3!
“We managed to achieve all the victories. From the very beginning, we set some rules and norms of behavior, and through training and matches, the requirements in the game. We have upgraded those requirements over time, guided by the idea of how the younger selections of the best club in the country should play. Together, we created a positive work environment, which resulted in 12 triumphs in 12 games.”
When you are the only team with all the victories, even with a goal difference of “plus 70” and when you came to that through an offensive and likable game – kids born in 2006 and 2007 can not be blamed for anything.
“I would especially like to emphasize the desire to improve with all the guys and provide the maximum, both every day in training and through games. Also, I am very satisfied with the good communication that the guys had with each other, where they supported each other and pushed each other forward. I have no doubt that it will continue to be so in the future. And to the perfect effect during the fall, the younger cadets were led by – the team! “We are guided by the fact that the team is ahead of everything, and an individual always jumps out of the team game – today it’s one, tomorrow another player …”, says Ćetković, and explains …
“Basically, we try to develop in guys positive attitudes both on and off the football field. And of course, we are trying to develop the whole personality, with an emphasis on work ethic and a culture of behavior, with the hope that some of them will be able to meet the demands of the first team in the future. “
The attacking philosophy is engraved in the DNA of the youth school of Buducnost, which has thrown out great players throughout history …
“A large number of goals and a goal difference of 73: 3 counting the Cup represents the way and philosophy of the younger selections of Buducnost. The desire is to be dominant in possession of the ball (progressive), and in defense with high pressure not to allow the opponent to develop his game. Simply put, to adapt them to the style of play of the first team in time. “
The championship cup is not a priority for younger cadets, as it should not be at that age, but if Ćetković’s team plays like in the fall, the title will not be a problem.
“Honestly, I want us to continue with such hard work and commitment of all the guys, to maintain a positive working atmosphere, because only in that way can they progress even more and break their boundaries.
