The youth selection finished the fall in the Youth League of Montenegro in second place with 35 points (two less than the leader OFK Mladost DG) – Nemanja Kljajevic’s students recorded 11 wins and two draws and two defeats.
The result could certainly have been better, but Kljaljevic often could not count on all the players, because a lot of young people joined the senior team.
“We are satisfied with what was done in the previous half of the season. We have pushed the boundaries in terms of work, both the training process and other things that are needed so that young people do not have problems when they move to the senior drive. “We could have done better in all segments, because I am someone who always wants better and more, but I also know that we gave our best and that we need to turn to new games. What makes me especially happy and what is the purpose of the youth drive is the large number of players in the first team. Especially in the last part of the season, I think that the boys from the youth team have shown that, with more experienced players, they can be seriously counted on. “

“We scored 47 goals in 15 games and conceded only 12, but I can say that it has to be even better. First of all, I mean the number of goals conceded, because we certainly received 70% of our goals from individual mistakes and thus helped our opponents. When it comes to the offensive, I am satisfied with the number of goals scored, but we will try to be better in the second half, because we strive for offensive football. “

“We are looking forward to being a pillar of our defense and captain Damijan Dakic had only two appearances in the youth team, and many more in the senior team. The plan of our youth school is for the best of their generation to play for the older age, so Kljajević had six registered cadets at his disposal.
“There were three for us, because a large number of matches coincided with the cadets. Krivokapić stood out the most, who did not surprise us, because we believe that he is one of the best young football players in the club. We have followed almost all cadet matches and we believe that this is the most promising generation in the club, so that number will be much higher in the long run. However, we have to take into account the cadet selection and the normal functioning of their training process and playing matches in full, because there is no point in taking all the best players and doing them a disservice. “
Points are shared in the half-season of the Youth League, and our guys will do everything in the spring to defend the title won last year.
“I believe we will defend it in the end. Our club is simply looking for trophies and deserves them, and personally that coincides with our coaching ambitions.
