Three generations of the Youth School, cadets, juniors and younger cadets, have started working. On that occasion, we talked with the leading tandem of the Youth school, Petar Grbić and Nikola Vukčević, who shared with us the further program of preparations, as well as their vision of the FC Buducnost.
Program preparation
The coordinator of the youth school, Nikola Vukčević, conveyed to us the plan and program of work in the upcoming preparations:
“They gathered on Monday when they started working. The first two days, just like the first team, were used as an introduction to preparing the children for testing. On the third day, tests were done, after which the coaches will get the necessary picture. For them, the championship should start in August, at the end of August, which means that it is still unknown due to all this situation. This means that they will have four to six weeks of preparation, and that is quite correct to say about getting in shape. Of course, they, as well as the first team, respect the measures of NKT, to come to training, the coaches of course use masks, and we all strictly adhere to that. “
Schedule
“The new coach Srdjan Radonjic also came, who led the same generation of young people two years ago, Zeljko Cetkovic came to us from FC Titgograd, who will lead the cadets. As of this season, we have three fitness trainers, which is the only case in Montenegro. They did racing tests as well as strength tests with the children to give the coaches an insight into their condition and only then planned a microcycle. We pay special attention to working with children in this sensitive phase, so that they have the appropriate training that develops their motor skills “, Vukčevic continued.
Work conditions
“The club provided them with the best working conditions, from the gym, props to supplementation for their age, with really excellent working conditions, so that the children could develop properly, which is especially important to us. Our vision is to create players for the first team, so the work must be planned down to the smallest detail. That is why we have three fitness coaches, who take care of the boss of each generation and assistants, we have two assistants in each generation, so the professional staff example of young people has four members, which is extraordinary and as I said our vision is to create players for the first team, and that process will be arduous and long-lasting, but we are here to give them the best possible conditions. So it’s up to the kids to just work and follow the instructions. We are involved to the maximum, down to every detail, from the diet plan, weighing to the diagnostic image of the tests. So, the children receive a certain program and guidelines, all with the goal of making better progress “, Nikola concluded.
The director of the Youth School, our Petar Grbić, continued about the vision and priorities.
“As you saw in the preparations for the first team, 12 young players have joined, two more players have returned from loans, also who still have the right to play for the youth. So honestly the vision of the club is just based on those children, the future of the FC Buducnost. By the very tempo of the head of the professional staff, the sports director, me as the director of the youth school, where we invited 12 young players to the first team, speaks about the vision of the club and the vision of the work of the youth school. First of all, I mentioned as a priority in my mandate, making players, not winning trophies, and personal promotion of coaches. Because Buducnost has quality young forces and by working with coaches, I believe that Buducnost can live as a club by selling players. As is the example of Stefan Milić, who has now joined Dinamo, Zagreb. “
Scholarship agreements
In June, we signed 8 scholarship agreements with the most talented young people, how do you see them working with the first team and what is the further plan?
“Yes, eight scholarship holders signed, six of them joined, because two are still too young for the first team, but they were certainly joined at some training. We plan to sign several more scholarship agreements in the next period, and those are Stjepovic, Mugosa, Camaj, some young players from our youth school.”
Interest for youth school
“To be honest, I am very happy with the arrival of talented players from abroad. We have non-stop calls from both the north of Montenegro and the south, who want to be part of the club. These are the most talented children, members of the national team in 2005 and 2006. And we will, of course, provide those children with all the conditions for progress. As Nikola said about the extraordinary conditions of the training plan, in addition, I would add that the club will provide accommodation, apartments for each player on the side, as well as food, and everything else depends on them, how Buducnost will look at them in the future. “
Further plans
“The new set in the youth school, as well as in the club’s management, shows that our goal is for Buducnost to move forward. Which has already been shown with the first team and the title we won convincingly. So many new ideas that we will present in the coming period, with the desire to make the youth school of Buducnost one of the best in the region. As it is one of the plans for our youth school to participate in tournaments in Europe, we have already scheduled some, but that was also postponed due to the current situation with the virus. “
