Having played the last preparatory game against the team Iskra from Danilovgrad, Budućnost is ready to start the second part of the season, in which it enters as a leader on the table of the Telekom 1. CFL. Budućnost previously spent some of their preparations time in Budva, as a guest of the Splendid Hotel, one of the sponsors of our club.
“Blue – white” lost from Iskra with result 1:3. Iskra scored a leading goal in the first half, but soon after second half started, our newcomer Moraitis scored for 1:1. After that our team was having chances that did not turned into goals, which Iskra punished with two goals in the net of the host claiming the winner of the match.
Budućnost started the game with Dragojević, Adžić, Milić, Đurić, Vučić, Mirković, Raičković, Terzić, Kalezić, Stojiljković and Vujačić.
This was our team’s last check during these preparations, in which it made three wins and 2 draws and losses. We used this opportunity to ask our teams’ manager Mladena Milinkovića how satisfied is he with preparations so far.
“We had forty five training sessions so far. We are satisfied with the serious approach that everyone has shown in the preparations so far, with certain small difficulties that emerged in last seven days, like Grbić and Pešukić that got cold and were unavailable along with injured Božović in the last matches of the preparations. It is necessary to continue with good games both in the Championship, as in the Cup. I hope that the remaining six days until the start of the second part of the championship will improve the team health bulletin, which will make it possible to continue with full capacity”, said Milinković.
Asked how he sees the championship going on and the role of our team in it, coach Milinković was brief.
“Our goals are clear, keeping the current position on the table and securing enough points to win the title as soon as possible. On the other hand, taking into consideration the fact that all teams during this preparations have strengthen their squads, I except very uncertain second part of the championship for the winner spot as for who will remain in the league”, Milinković concluded.
Budućnost will continue the championship with a leading position and eight points advantage over second-placed Sutjeska.
