Budućnost won 2:0 in the match against Rudar adn secured the “autumn title” of Telekom 1.CFL. With this victory our club gained five points advantage over second-placed Sutjeska and on sunday 15th of december will have the opportunity to even increase this against Grbalj in Radanovići.
This was the third matchup between the two teams this season. In all of them Budućnost came out as a winner with a significant score 7:0 in total.
This time we also saw the dominance of Mladen Milinkovic’s team. The rivals were constantly pressured, as our coach insisted on high pressing to make it easier to create a chance for a possible goal.
Our team had two good chances in the first half over Zarubica and Grbić but the goalkeeper Kaltak intervened on both occasions.
A similar dominance was seen in later during the game, but the guests resisted the attacks of players in blue and white jerseys. The first chance to score a goal we missed in the 69th minute. Krasić played with his hand in his own penalty area, Novović pointed to the white spot but Božović’s shot was read by Kaltak.
Only six minutes later we got the chance to correct our mistakes. Grbić scored for a big celebration and relief to our squad.
They continued with their attacks on the opponents goal and the award came in the extra time. Great counter-attack put Stoiljković on the position to release a powerful shot from somewhat twenty meters, but the ball bounced toPerović, who does not make a mistake from close range.
The last challenge for our players in the first half of the season will be on Sunday in Radanovići. It will be a late played matchup against Grbalj and the opportunity to finish this part of the season in the most beautiful way possible.
