The draw in the Football House of the Football Association of Montenegro at the Old Airport said its own – our Buducnost will play against Sutjeska in the semifinals of the Cup of Montenegro.
The first game of the biggest domestic derby in the Cup competition is on the program on April 20 near Gorica, while the return match on May 4 is near Bistrica.
It will be a replay of the semifinals from the 2018/19 season, when our team advanced to the grand final and won the Cup – then it was 1: 1 in the semifinals in Nikšić, and 0: 0 in Podgorica.
Almanacs of the most massive competition say that two great rivals in independent Montenegro met twice more in the Cup – our team advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2017/18 season with a total score of 3: 0 (2: 0 under Gorica, 1: 0 near Bistrica ), and in the 2009/10 season when we played the finals, we eliminated Sutjeska also in the quarterfinals with the result 2: 1 (1: 1 under Gorica, 1: 0 near Bistrica).
