Our blonde girls have successfully finished the summer preparations ready for new challenges. The first round is already on the program on Saturday, September 5, where our senior team will meet the Breznica team, on the auxiliary field of FC Buducnost at the Old Airport.
Before the start of the ZFL Montenegro 2020/21 season, we talked to coach Dusko Globarevic, who shared with us his expectations and strategy for the upcoming season.
What are your expectations before tomorrow’s game?
“After a break of two months for the weekend, a new season starts and immediately at the beginning of the first of the four championship derbies. Due to the situation with the Corona virus, we did the preparations in our city. This year as well, the main favorite is the Breznica team. We give preference to the rival from Pljevlja because of the experience and the difference in age. As for us, no player has left the club, we are going to fight with the same forces, but that does not mean that we will play a subordinate role in the championship. The girls are ready to welcome the derby and it is a great pity, both for women’s football in Montenegro and for themselves that the game cannot be played in the presence of the audience. “
