Our youth and cadets started the season well.
The youngsters started with all three victories, in the first round against the team of Petrovac (0: 3), then the team of Sutjeska (1: 0) and Jedinstvo in the third round (1: 3), which puts them in first place on the table with 9 points.
Also, the cadets achieved a good result, with two wins and one draw in the first round against the team of Podgorica (1: 1). Victories were achieved against the team of Mornar (0: 6) and Sutejesa (1: 0). Thus, they are currently in the second position with 7 points and a goal difference from the team Titograd, which is in the first place.
On that occasion, we talked to the coaches, Zeljko Cetkovic and Srdjan Radonjic.
Željko Ćetković, cadet coach, stated his expectations for the beginning of the conversation:
“First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the management of FC Buducnost, for the indicated trust to take over the U-17 generation. It is expected that in the period ahead of us with quality work, we will create preconditions for players from this generation to emerge who will be ready to respond to the demands of the first team. The players, in these two months of working together, have shown a good level of talent and quality, and it is up to my associates and me to further direct and raise them to a higher level. certainly not unimportant, because we also want to create strong players, competitors. “
Željko continued with a review of the start of the season: “As far as the game itself is concerned, in the first three rounds, we are not at the desired level yet, which is understandable, because it is not a big period of work behind us. I have no doubt that it will get better in the coming period, because the quality work and focus of the players in training, gives me the right to do so. The result was good. “
Srdjan Radonjic, the youth coach, also shared with us his point of view on the start of the season:
“As for the youth, we started the championship, played three rounds, and recorded three victories. We have to be happy with the points balance but there is still a lot of room for improvement in the game. We work in excellent conditions, a lot of players join the first team, and while I am the coach of the youth team, I will try to project as many players from our school as possible for the first team. We have quality children, but we as coaches must give even more energy and knowledge so that they grow into real players. We have a lot of work ahead of us and I hope that this generation will also give future first-team players of our club and representatives of our country. “
