Budućnost started the second part of the season with a draw 1: 1, playing a match against the team of FC “Podgorica”, on the field “DG Arena” in Podgorica. Both teams created chances during the first half, but the lead for Budućnost came only in the second half, with a goal from Moraitis in the 76th minute.The expected victory of our team was taken away by Djajić scoring a goal in the 83rd minute for Podgorica. Despite enormous pressure of our team on the opponents goal, there were no more goals on this match.
“We are certainly not satisfied with the final result, I think we were closer to victory. Despite the lead, a moment of inattention cost us two very important points.The guys certainly did their best, you saw the euphoria after the goal we scored. There is a lot of pressure on them, everyone knows what is expected of them, so hopefully in the next match we will be better and more efficient”, said our coach Mladen Milinković.
Budućnost will host FC Kom on Sunday at Gradski stadium, with beginning at 7 p.m. We expect a lot of support from our fans with whom we will surely get to the next three points in the championship.
