Football club “Budućnost” is celebrating its 95th birthday! According to tradition, on June 12, 1925, the founding assembly of the workers’ sports association, named Zora, was held in the cafe of Jola Vukčević, which was located a little east of the place where the hotel “Crna Gora” is now, in the park where the Karadjordjev monument is. . That company continued the activity of ROŠK and Zeta. The name of the society was given by party and trade union activists, thus announcing better days for the socially endangered and disenfranchised working class. The new club quickly became an important part of sports and social life in the city under Gorica, and it all started with the first meeting in the club’s history – a friendly match with the older city rival “Balšić” (2: 1). In the first matches of “Zora”, led by Slovenian coach Karlo Vugrinec, at that time the red jersey of the club was worn by Musaja Celebicic, Vaso Vukadinovic, Beco Abdomerovic, Vaso Carapic, Vlado Kirsanov, Djordje Keseljevic, Vaso Kulic, Blazo Prelevic, Duljo Dzaferadzo Blažo Sutulović, Buto Krkanović, Luka Bulatović, Tahir Čelebić, Ilija Ivanović, Milo Pajović, Milovan Radulović, Vuko Vuksanović, Dušan Krcunović, Đorđije Vučeljić, Branko Rajković, Smail Bibezić, Šećir Kapadžić and Arso Marković.
